Description

Number 9 Clough House, dating from the late 18th century, is one of a pair of buildings. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and has a pitched stone slate roof. The south elevation has a ground floor with one four-light stone mullioned window, recessed, and one six-light stone mullioned window, also recessed, featuring a large, flush king mullion. The first floor has two two-light stone mullioned windows and two three-light stone mullioned windows. The north elevation features single-storey extensions at the rear, built back to the natural ground level. The east gable has a ground floor entrance with quoins and a former two-light stone mullioned window, of which one mullion has been removed. The first floor has one recessed two-light stone mullioned window.
