Description

Waring Bridge, built between 1794 and 1798, is located over the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. It was likely engineered by Benjamin Outram. The bridge is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a single span with an arched design. A string course runs along the base of the parapet, which is topped with rounded copings. There are mounting blocks situated on the west parapet.
