Description

This barn, located approximately 5 metres to the west of Butterworth End Farmhouse, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a stone slate roof. The barn comprises three bays and has a central cart entry with a basket arch, above which is a Venetian window. There are plain stone surround doorways at either end. The building also has plain gutter brackets on the table. It is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
