Description

No. 116 Halifax Road is a house that was formerly a lodge for Slead Hall, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is single storey and rectangular in shape, topped with a pyramidal roof that has a tall central chimney. There are two pointed arched windows on two sides, with one of these windows serving as a doorway. The house also has paired gutter brackets. It is listed for its group value context.
