Description
This building is a toll-house dating from around 1830, originally constructed for the Hebden Bridge and Lees Turnpike Road, and is now a single-cell cottage. It is built of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar quoins and features a stone slate roof. The structure has two storeys. To the right, there is a doorway with interrupted jambs next to a 2-light flat-faced mullioned window that has a projecting sill. The same window design is repeated on the first floor. The building also has a gable stack.
