Description

Mayfield is a house built in the mid-18th century, with additions made to the east and west in the early 19th century. It is constructed of thin coursed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and the south front displays five bays of flat faced mullioned windows, consisting of two lights, three lights, and four lights. Dressed quoins indicate the original two-cell 18th-century design. Similar windows are found at the rear of the house, and there is a single gable stack on the west side.
