Description
Number 3 Rishworth Hall is a late 17th-century cottage constructed from thin coursed rubble with ashlar quoins and a stone slate roof. The building features a two-storey front with a single-cell layout and a single-storey outshut at the rear. To the left of the entrance, which has monolithic jambs, is a three-light flat-faced mullioned window. There is also a two-light chamfered mullioned window that may have been a former fire-window. On the first floor, there is a three-light double chamfered mullioned window. The right-hand return wall includes a gable stack and a four-light flat-faced mullioned window to the left of the doorway, which also has monolithic jambs, leading to an aisle or outshut beneath a cat-slide roof that connects to the main range.
