House, now a pair of cottages. 1816 (first land transaction). Watershot masonry, stone slate roof. 3 storeys. South front has coped gable with kneelers to left hand end. Clear break between later attached row (which excluded from the item), to right hand end. 2 cells. Each has doorway with tie-stones and double chamfered mullioned window of 2 wide lights. Over 2-light flat faced mullioned windows to 1st and 2nd floors. 2 stacks to ridge. Rear of 1st cell has semi-circular arched entry with prominent keystone (blocked) with inserted door. To left is double chamfered mullioned window of 2 wide lights with same over to 1st and 2nd floors of both cells. This represents a remarkable survival of C17 window detail or maybe a Vernacular Revival.
