Description
This is a single aisled cow house with a loft above, originally timber-framed and now consisting of two bays. The stonework dates back to the early 17th century, while the gable and south wall were rebuilt around 1900. The building features hammer-dressed stone and a stone slate roof, with coped gables and kneelers. There are three doorways in the gable; the one leading to the aisle has a four-centred arch with spandrels, while the other two have depressed arches, all with moulded jambs. Above, there is a two-light mullioned ventilator. Inside, the cow house has a timber arcade to the aisle and king post trusses.
