Description
This is a 4-bay barn located to the north-west of Kirklees Priory Gatehouse, dating from the late 17th century. The barn features a central threshing door and was possibly originally timber-framed, now encased in stone. It has re-used rafters supporting a collar rafter roof. The northern end of the barn includes a mistal with a loft above, while the southern end has a loft on two floors, although all floors have been removed.
