Description
Stubbing Farmhouse is a house built of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, dating from the 17th century, with 19th-century additions at both ends. Originally designed in an L-shape, it now features later extensions that create a long range on the south front, which has two storeys. At the rear, there is a single-storey kitchen outshut. The kitchen contains much-altered 3-light and 2-light mullioned windows. The south front largely retains its original window arrangement, including a parlour and housebody with a fire-window of 2 lights. On the ground floor, there are two 5-light double chamfered mullioned windows (with some mullions removed) and three 4-light double chamfered mullioned windows above.
