Description
Field House and its service buildings, dated 1713, are a two-storey stone structure located on the east side of Staups Lane. The buildings feature a continuous stone roof with end gables that are not coped, and have bracketed eaves. The windows are simple mullioned types, with the lower ones having been altered. There is a continuous drip moulding present. A dated tablet above a blocked doorway is inscribed with "W/ IM." There is a second doorway and a cambered arch leading to the barn. The east side has paired sash windows and a stepped mullioned and transomed window in the gable. The rear wing has been partly reconstructed.
