Description

This is a row of eight houses, numbered 9 to 16, located on York Terrace. The houses date from the mid-19th century and form a group with numbers 1 to 22. They are two-storeyed houses with a tool-basement. The construction is of stone, with eaves and gables to a slated roof. Each house has an arched doorway. The ground-floor windows are 4-light mullioned and transom windows; those above have 2- or 3-light openings, sharing a gable. Some mullions have been removed from the upper windows. The end houses have wider gables.
