Description
This is a row of eight cottages located on Rochdale Road in Todmorden, built in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed from watershot masonry and have a stone slate roof. They are two storeys high and feature eight bays, each with a flat-faced mullioned window of five lights on both floors, and a doorway with tie-stones. The corners are accentuated by quoins, and the eaves project with gutter brackets. There are eight stacks rising from the ridge. The entrances are above street level and are accessed by steps leading to a stone balcony with a cast iron rod railing.
