Description
The lodge and attached entrance piers to Dobroyd Castle were built around 1865, possibly designed by John Gibson. The structure is made of pitch-faced stone with ashlar dressings, and the roof is not visible. It has an irregular plan and consists of one and two storeys. The building features basket-arched windows and doorways, along with a heavy embattled parapet. The entrance piers are square in plan and topped with embattlements.
