Description
Dyson Field House is an early 19th-century house featuring an ashlar front and hammer-dressed stone on the sides and rear, topped with a modern tiled hipped roof. The building has a plinth and sill bands, presenting a symmetrical five-bay facade. The doorway is notable for its monolithic jambs, consoles, and a segmental pediment, which includes a fan light and a six-panelled door. The tall sash windows maintain their original 16-pane glazing. Additional architectural details include gutter brackets and an eaves cornice. At the rear, there is a tall semi-circular arched stair window with margin lights.
