Description
Nos 2 and 4 (School Green) are a pair of single cell cottages dating from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from thin coursed stone with ashlar quoins and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, each with a doorway that has monolithic jambs and a flat faced mullioned window with two wide lights on each floor. Above the right-hand doorway is a blank tablet. There is an added cell with single square lights. The cottages have coped gables with moulded kneelers and two stacks at the ridge.
