Description
HOPWOOD LANE LANE 1. 1164 SE 0825 SW 12/206 War memorial in Belle Vue Park II The address and description shall be amended to read:- SE 02 NE KING STREET (South side) -/12/206 War Memorial in Duffy's Park 23/11/73 (formerly listed as: Hopwood lane War memorial in Belle Vue Park). GV II War memorial. Dated 1922, altered 1947. Ashlar. Tapered rectangular stone pier, raised on three shallow steps and a chamfered plinth. Inscriptions to both World Wars. Head plaque added to commemorate 1939-45 war. This memorial originally stood in belle Vue Park, moved to its present site c1980.
