Description
This barn, located approximately 14 metres to the north-east of Greave House, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a corrugated roof. The barn is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has quoins and a central round-arched cart entry that is quoined, complete with imposts, a keystone, and board doors. The other openings are framed with plain stone surrounds, including board doors at each end and a window on the inside, along with a keyed Venetian window above the cart entry flanked by lunettes. The barn has paired chamfered gutter brackets on the eaves. On the left side, there is a blocked door and window on the ground floor, with two blocked windows above and an owl hole in the gable. The right side also features an owl hole in the gable.
