Description
This barn, located 20 meters southeast of Pex House, dates from the late 17th century, with its roof raised in the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble that is brought to course up to the height of the barn arch, with larger, well-coursed stone above. The roof is covered with stone slates, and the building features quoins. The main entrance is a basket-arched cart entry with large skewbacks and composite jambs. To the left of this entrance is a low mistal doorway, and above the arch, there is a square window. Inside, the barn is divided into three bays by two large semi-circular stone arches on either side of the entrance.
