Description
Nos. 1 and 2 Chiserley Hall, along with the archway attached to No. 2, are a pair of cottages built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with each single cell having a doorway with a sill-tie jamb and a 5-light flat faced mullioned window on each floor, although both windows are missing two mullions. The left-hand return wall includes a columbarium at the apex. There are two stacks at the ridge. The elliptical archway, which has rusticated voussoirs, leads into an enclosed courtyard.
