Description
This garden pavilion, located in the corner of the walled garden behind Toothill Court, dates from the late 18th century and is possibly designed by Robert Adam for Nostell Priory, where he created several garden ornaments. The pavilion, previously referred to as the 'Indian House', was moved to its current location in the early 20th century. It features cast iron columns adorned with an anthemion frieze and has a slight segmental curve on one side. The pavilion also includes later inserted glazing and a projecting moulded cornice.
