Description

Carter House, built around 1800-1820, is a two-storey farmhouse made of sandstone "brick" with a stone slate roof and corniced chimneys. The house features four light square mullion windows at the rear and two light windows at the front, along with a squared jamb doorway. Adjoining the farmhouse is a taller barn that has arched openings and a stone slate roof equipped with large iron ventilators.
