Description
The railings and piers at the front of Saltaire Mills were built around 1860-1870, likely designed by Lockwood and Mawson for Titus Salt. They feature square-section cast-iron arcaded railings with a triangular top rail, complemented by square cast-iron piers topped with pyramidal caps. In front of the entrance, there are two round stone piers with a moulded cornice. These structures are included for their group value and are part of the Saltaire model village.
