Description
These railings, located between Victoria Road and Albert Road in Saltaire, date from around 1860 to 1870 and were likely designed by Lockwood and Mawson for Titus Salt. They are made of square-section cast iron and feature square cast-iron piers topped with pyramidal caps. The design includes scrolled fillets to accommodate the changes in level caused by the sloping ground. These railings are an integral part of the Saltaire model village.
