Description

No 808 on Great Horton Road is a late 17th century former farmhouse. It is two storeys high and constructed of irregularly coursed sandstone, featuring roughly dressed long and short quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and includes saddlestones. There is an external chimney with offsets located at the east end of the building. The property has three, four, and five light chamfered mullion windows, along with a chamfered doorway, all of which have drip moulds on carved stops. The interior has been considerably altered, although some beams remain exposed. At the rear, there is an outshut that has undergone later alterations.
