Description
Chapel Fold is a pair of three-storey dwellings built in 1782 as the sisters' house for the Moravian settlement. The buildings are constructed from sandstone "brick" with flush quoins and feature a stone slate roof with corniced chimneys. Each floor has three-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, and the doorways have squarer jambs. Above the doorway of No 4, there are single-light windows. At the rear, there is an external staircase leading up to the first floor.
