Description
Lower Fold is a late 18th century or early 19th century rebuild of a 17th century farmhouse. The building is two storeys high, constructed of sandstone "brick" with a stone slate roof and features flanking chimneys with cornices. It has two windows set in squared surrounds and a modern stone gabled porch. At the rear, there is a single storey wing made of gritstone, which has massive quoins. This property is included for its group value.
