Description
The Fleece Public House is a public house and cottage, now functioning entirely as a public house, built in the mid-19th century with two sections. It is constructed of coursed millstone grit and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys, with the public house section having three first-floor windows and the cottage section having one. All openings have flush stone surrounds, and the windows are designed with flat-faced mullions.
The public house has a central boarded door with an overlight, flanked by two-light windows, and a blocked door to the right. The first and second floors feature a central single-light window flanked by two-light windows. The cottage section to the left has a boarded door to the right, with an opening to the left that is now blocked and replaced by a window. The first and second floors of the cottage have one three-light window. The building also has shaped gutter brackets and ridge stacks.
