Description

Nos 223, 225, and 227 on Moorside Road are a block of late 18th century cottages located on the north side of the entrance to Haigh Fold. The cottages are two storeys high and constructed from sandstone "brick". Nos 225 and 227 are slightly earlier in build and feature flush quoins. They have stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. The windows are two-light square mullion types set in squared surrounds, and the doorways have squared jambs. This listing is included for its group value.
