Description
The former Wesleyan Chapel, built around 1860, is a detached building in a late neo-classical style. It has an oblong shape and features two storeys of windows, constructed from dressed, coursed stone. The roof is a low-pitched stone slab, topped with a simple pediment on the street-facing gable, which includes a roundel clock. The front of the chapel has three round-headed windows with sill bands; the upper windows are taller and adorned with keystones and impost blocks, while the lower windows have impost bands. The central opening is a doorway that features a moulded architrave, a fanlight, and an eight-panel door. The sides of the building are fitted with four straight-headed windows.
