Description
The building is a warehouse located to the right of The Queensbury Tavern, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The warehouse has two storeys and a five-bay facade, with the central bay being wider and projecting forward. This central bay is framed by rusticated quoins and topped with a pediment that includes an oculus. The entrance is elliptical-arched, also framed by rusticated quoins and voussoirs, and features wooden panelled doors. Above the entrance, at first-floor level, there is a triple group of round-arched lights with key and impost blocks. The two side wings consist of two bays, framed by quoins, with square-headed windows on the ground floor and round-arched windows on the first floor, both featuring rusticated voussoirs. The gables have copings on large moulded kneelers, and there is a moulded eaves cornice. The roof includes two decorative ventilators at the ridge and another at eaves level on the right side. Each gable apex has a triple group of round-arched windows. The interior has not been inspected.
