Description
Turnpike Farm House is a 17th-century small farmhouse located on Green Lane in Burley in Wharfedale. The building is constructed from roughly coursed rubble and features a slab roof, chamfered tabling, and kneelers. The windows display irregular placement, with slab mullions. There are three-light, three-light, and four-light windows above, and two-light and one-light windows below. The house also includes a gabled porch that has a tablet dated 1708, which was formerly a lintel in the gable of an outbuilding to the southeast. Additionally, there is a larger two-light window and a right-hand window with a cambered lintel.
