Description

This is a group of five cottages located on Belle Isle Road, Keighley, built in the early 19th century, with two distinct phases of construction. The cottages are constructed of coursed millstone grit with stone slate roofs and quoins. They feature flat-faced mullion windows with two, three, five, or eight lights set within flush stone surrounds. Numbers 10, 11, and 12 are three-storied, each with one bay. Number 10 has a 20th-century bow window on the ground floor; number 11 has had its mullions removed and has a 20th-century wooden porch; and number 12 has later windows and a 20th-century wooden porch. Number 13, added to the right, is two-storied with one bay. Number 8, located back-to-back with number 10, is two-storied.
