Description
Howden House Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two windows on the first floor. The central doorway is framed by tie-stone jambs, with two-light flat-faced mullioned windows on either side. The left window has 4-paned sashes, while the right window has 2-paned sashes. The first floor has closer-set two-light windows, and the cottage is topped with tall gable stacks.
