Description
The Leeds and Liverpool Canal aqueduct over Hainsworth Road and Silsden Beck is a late 18th-century canal structure made of hammer-dressed stone. It features a semicircular arch spanning the stream, supported by a segmental relieving arch above. The intrados includes three additional dressed arches. Over the road, there is a basket arch supported by three large buttresses located on the south side. The aqueduct is finished with a band and parapet that has coping.
