Description

A row of five cottages, numbers 4 to 8 Ebor Lane, dating from the early to mid-19th century and situated in Keighley, close to Haworth. The cottages are built of dressed millstone grit, with stone slate roofs. They are arranged in a stepped layout following the hillside. Each cottage is one bay wide and two storeys high, with a doorway on the left side, set within a flush stone surround. Each floor features a three-light, flat-faced mullion window, also in a flush stone surround. A chimney stack is located to the right of each cottage. The left gable end of the row has coping. The group value is derived from their cohesive design and historical context.
