Description

The property at 33-39 Windhill Old Road, Thackley, is a group of cottages dating to around 1800, formed by the conversion of an earlier farmhouse. The building is constructed of coursed gritstone with flush quoins. It has a stone slate roof with saddlestones, shaped kneelers, and corniced chimneys. The windows are square mullion windows, with two or three lights, set within squared surrounds; some retain their original mullions. The doorways have squared jambs. The gable end of number 33 features a plain Venetian window.
