Description
This late 18th century stable and coach house, made of sandstone "brick," is located to the north-west of the Clock House at Bradford Grammar School. The building features a pediment gable with a slight break on the south front, topped by a corniced chimney. It has a stone slate roof and a gable end that is dated 1783, displaying the initials of Nathan Jowett and his wife Mary, who inherited the estate in 1774. This indicates that the alteration or rebuilding of the Clock House likely occurred during their ownership.
