Description
The coach house and stables, built in the early 19th century, likely around 1830, are located to the west of Bradridge House. They are constructed from local slate rubble and feature a slate roof with gabled ends. The building has a rectangular plan that faces a courtyard to the east, with the stables on the right and the coach house on the left. The left gable end, which faces the garden, is architecturally treated and connects to the rear corner of the house by a short curved wall that screens the courtyard from the garden.
The east front, facing the courtyard, has double doors leading to the coach house on the left and stable doors on the right, flanked by two small 4-pane casement windows. The south gable end is also architecturally enhanced, featuring a parapeted gable and plain flanking pilasters. The ground floor includes a shallow porch with flashing recesses, all adorned with flat red brick arches. The porch has early 19th-century glazed outer doors and hall glazed inner doors, with a 19th-century 10-pane window above, also with a red flat brick arch. The interior has not been inspected.
