Description

Marsh Methodist Chapel is a 19th-century building that began as a Sunday school before being enlarged into a chapel in 1836, with further expansion in 1874. It is constructed from coursed stone and features a stone slate roof. The chapel is a single-storey, five-bay structure with a cross-wing. The main section has a pedimented gabled porch with a marginal glazed fanlight above the door, and narrow round-headed windows also with marginal glazing. The cross-wing, which may be of an earlier construction, has slightly wider windows. The building includes plain eaves brackets and a large crested iron ventilator on the ridge.
