Description

The Folly and Burwood Cottage is a late 18th century house featuring a three-bay symmetrical front. It is two storeys high and constructed of sandstone "brick." The roof is made of stone slate and includes saddlestones and corniced chimneys. The building has four-light square mullion windows, with a central blind and plain Venetian windows above. There is an unobtrusive modern stone porch. Overall, the elevation is well-proportioned and maintains a vernacular architectural style.
