Description
The outbuildings located to the east of the Malt Shovel Public House are likely built around the same time as the pub and share a common roof with it. They are two storeys high and constructed from mainly coursed rubble with a stone slab roof. The north front features a central carriage entrance with flat lintels on both sides. There are sash windows with glazing bars at each end, and beneath these windows are doors, with the left-hand door being a six-panel design. Additionally, there is a window on either side of the left-hand door on the ground floor. The Malt Shovel Public House, these outbuildings, and the buildings numbered 34 to 40 form a cohesive group along the south side of Main Street.
