Description

Number 30, also known as Well Fold, is a two-storey building located on the east side of High Street in Idle, built with gritstone and covered with a stone slate roof that is partly collapsed. The building features two-light chamfered mullion windows and a doorway with a lintel dated 1664, suggesting that it may have early 17th century origins. It has a massive chimney breast. To the right, there is an early 19th century barn that includes a segmented ashlar voussoir archway. This building closes the north-east end of the fold.
