Description

This is an outbuilding located to the north-west of Far Isle Farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed from coursed millstone grit and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories high and has one bay. The south front includes quoins, a doorway with a chamfered stone surround, and a two-light double-chamfered mullion window, although the mullion has been removed. There are shaped kneelers and ashlar coping at the top of the walls, along with end stacks. On the left gable, the first floor has a four-light double-chamfered mullioned window, which has been reduced to two lights.
