Description
The Wool-comber's shop, located 10 metres south of Hardwick House Farmhouse, is an early 19th-century single-storey building now used as a store-room. It is constructed of rubble brought to course, featuring large dressed quoins and a large dressed boulder on the west wall. The roof is made of stone slate. The north gable includes a doorway with monolithic jambs and a single light window with a rough dressed surround. The left-hand return wall has a similar window.
