Description
The barn south of Wheatley Grange, located adjacent to the house and aligned with it, is likely built around the same time as the house. It stands two storeys high and is constructed from coursed, dressed stone with a stone slab roof. The north gable end features two fixed windows on each storey, with glazing bars on the upper windows. The west side of the barn is attached to outbuildings surrounding a yard. There is an extension at the north angle between the barn and the outbuildings, as well as a modern lean-to extension along the south side, which is not included in the listing. The barn, along with the walling to the drive of the Wheatley Grange outbuildings that encloses the farmyard, forms a group with the house.
