Description

This is a road bridge that spans the Porter Brook, built in 1899. It is constructed from coursed squared stone and features red brick parapet walls topped with roll moulded ashlar copings. The bridge has a single round arch made of voussoirs. At the north-east end, there is an incomplete cast-iron gas lamp. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby George Woofindin Almshouses.
