Description
The war memorial cross, located 400 meters northeast of the chapel at Burngreave Cemetery in Sheffield, was erected around 1920 and is likely designed by R Blomfield. It is made of Portland stone and features an octagonal tapered cross with a bronze sword affixed to it. The cross stands on an inscribed octagonal pedestal, which is set on an octagonal base and plinth. This memorial is complementary to the wall of names situated 5 meters to the east.
