Description

This is a group of seven late 18th and early 19th century houses, now combined into six separate dwellings. They are located on Townhead Road, Dore, Sheffield, and are built of squared dressed stone with artificial stone slate roofs and four ridge stacks and one gable stack. The building consists of two ranges, with four and three windows respectively. The windows are modern two-light casements. The left range has quoins and a coped gable. The left side features a door flanked by single windows; the right side has two windows flanked by single doors. All the ground floor openings are topped with stone lintels. The slightly higher right range has three windows on the upper floor and three windows and two doors on the ground floor, all with stone lintels. The interior of the building has not been inspected. Later alterations have been made in the late 20th century.
